Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Gazelle Enterprises Ltd collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit gazellehk.com, contact us, open an account or place an order. It applies to business visitors and account holders; it is not directed at consumers or children.

1. Who we are
Gazelle Enterprises Ltd, Room 805, 8/F Wing Kwok Centre, 182 Woosung Street, Jordan, Kowloon, Hong Kong (“Gazelle”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of personal data collected through this website. 2. Data we collect
Contact and inquiry data: name, business email, company, country, telephone or messaging number, product interest, quantity, timeline and the content of your message. Account data: email address, password hash, company profile and the preferences you set. Transaction data: quotations, samples, orders, shipping and invoicing details, correspondence and documents you send us. Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, session identifiers and a hashed visitor identifier used for first-party analytics. We do not ask for special-category data (for example health, biometric or political data); please do not send it through the site.
3. How we use data and our legal bases
We use personal data to respond to inquiries and prepare quotations or samples; to assess feasibility, MOQ and lead time; to create and administer accounts; to conclude, perform and administer orders, shipping, inspection and after-sales; to protect the site and our systems against fraud, abuse and unauthorised access; to understand which pages and content help business buyers; to send service messages and, where permitted, relevant commercial updates; and to comply with legal, tax, accounting and compliance obligations. Our legal bases are: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; our legitimate interests in operating a B2B manufacturing business, answering business requests, securing our systems and improving our services; your consent where required (for example optional marketing or non-essential cookies); and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance them against your rights and you may object as described below.
4. Cookies and analytics
The site uses an essential session cookie for login and security, and local storage for interface preferences such as language and recently viewed items. We use first-party analytics that records page views and events with a hashed visitor identifier; we do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or sell audience data. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but essential cookies are required for login and inquiry functions. Where local law requires consent for non-essential technologies, we will ask before enabling them.
5. Sharing and processors
We share personal data only as needed with: hosting and infrastructure providers that operate the site; email delivery providers; analytics providers acting on our instructions; professional advisers (legal, accounting, audit); logistics, inspection and payment providers where required to fulfil an order; and authorities or courts where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Processors act under contract and may use data only for the agreed purpose. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
6. International transfers
We are based in Hong Kong and may use service providers in other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred outside your jurisdiction, we take steps required by applicable law, such as contractual safeguards and security assessments. Different countries may have different data-protection standards; we apply this policy to data we control wherever it is processed.
7. Retention
We keep inquiry and quotation records for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, and longer where a contract, dispute or legal obligation requires it. Account data is kept while the account is active and for up to 12 months afterwards. Order, invoice, tax and compliance records are kept for the period required by law (generally up to seven years). Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months; server and security logs for up to 90 days. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe or object. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including TLS in transit, access controls, least-privilege administration, hashed passwords, backups and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you should use a unique password and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. If a breach affecting your rights occurs, we will notify you and the competent authority where required by law.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, portability of data you provided, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing at any time. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, without affecting prior lawful processing. To exercise a right, email mkt@etergaze.com.hk; we may ask for information to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by law (generally 30 days). You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong or to your local supervisory authority.
10. Children, automated decisions, changes and contact
The site is intended for business users and is not directed at children; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use personal data for behavioural advertising. We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or our operations; the date above shows the current version and material changes will be notified on the site or by email where appropriate.
